Seminar, opening, conference, convention, product launch, awards ceremony or business meeting: an event often means a lot of preparation for just a few hours.

My role is to keep a faithful record of it, but also to give you images that are genuinely useful for your communication: website, social media, press, internal communication, partners or future editions.

Planimage can cover photography, video or a set-up combining both, from a light reportage to full multi-camera recording.

Photo + video

Would you like both a photo reportage and video content to communicate quickly after the event? Coverage can combine photography and video within the same service.

The length of the film and the size of the set-up are adapted to the event.

Depending on the project, a second photographer or videographer can join the team to provide full photo coverage and more extensive video recording at the same time.

Conferences, panel discussions and conventions

Planimage has the equipment to set up full recording of a conference or professional talk with several cameras and dedicated sound. The set-up can be adapted to the room layout:

• 2 or 3 simultaneous cameras
• Wide shots and close-ups of the speakers
• Mobile camera when the layout allows
• Independent sound recording, with the option of taking the feed from the room's PA system
• Backup recording when technically possible
• Source synchronisation and multi-camera editing
• Integration of titles, speaker names or graphic elements supplied by the organiser
• Export in 4K or Full HD

My most complete package: up to 4 video cameras and 2 stills cameras used simultaneously so nothing of the event is missed. When the recording requires constant monitoring of the cameras while also producing a real photo reportage, a second operator is included.

On-site interviews

An event is often the ideal opportunity to gather testimonials from speakers, partners or attendees. I can set up a light kit on site to film interviews during the event.

For several speakers, interviews can be organised throughout the seminar or convention. An extra operator can be dedicated to them while the rest of the team covers the conference and the reportage.

A team suited to your event

Some events can be covered effectively by a single person. Others require several tasks at once: photographing attendees while a conference is being recorded, following several areas, filming interviews during a panel discussion or monitoring several cameras.

Planimage can then put together a set-up including:

Your files

All delivered photographs are individually selected and edited before delivery.

RAW files can also be handed over. However, they represent a much larger volume of data than the final photographs.

If you have the necessary storage space, RAW files can be provided at no extra cost. Otherwise, Planimage can offer storage space or a device to make them available as an option.

Raw video footage can also be kept or handed over when planned in the proposal.

Travel

The rates shown are for a service in Seine-Maritime, travel included.

Is your event further away? No problem, I'm happy to travel! We simply need to plan for the journey and, when the distance calls for it, somewhere to stay nearby. Two options, whichever suits you best:

• travel, accommodation and meals are added to the service;
• or accommodation is taken care of directly on your side (on site, at your home or in a place you book), and only travel and meals are added.

We'll simply talk it through together, and everything is clearly set out before booking.

A special event?

No two corporate events are really alike. A two-hour opening, a conference in front of 50 people and a convention with several hundred attendees obviously don't require the same set-up.

How to book?

1. First conversation — you tell me about the event, its length and your communication needs.
2. Proposal — Planimage advises you on the set-up (photo, video, recording, interviews, team) and confirms availability.
3. Contract and deposit — the booking becomes final once the proposal is approved, the contract is signed and the requested deposit is paid.
4. The event — the service is carried out in the best conditions, then the content is delivered within the agreed timeframe.
